Statement of Faith
“For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11

1. We Believe in the Triune God.
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is equal in power, authority, and glory, working together in perfect unity to accomplish His divine will.

2. We Believe in Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous works, atoning death on the cross, burial, and bodily resurrection. Through His death and resurrection, all who believe receive forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.

3. We Believe in the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering us to live godly lives, equipping us for service, and guiding the Church in truth, worship, and mission.

4. We Believe in the Bible.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and life. It reveals God’s plan for salvation and provides guidance for daily living.

5. We Believe in Salvation by Grace Through Faith.
Salvation is the free gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe all have sinned and are in need of a Savior. Only by repenting of sin and trusting in Christ’s finished work can one be forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God.

6. We Believe in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We practice believer’s baptism by immersion, symbolizing the believer’s faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We also observe the Lord’s Supper as a sacred reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and a celebration of our unity as His body.

7. We Believe in the Church.
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers who join together for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Galilee Baptist Church exists to glorify God, evangelize the lost, and equip believers to live out the Gospel in everyday life.

8. We Believe in Christ’s Return.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory and power to judge the living and the dead. Until then, we are called to live faithfully, serve diligently, and share the good news of salvation with the world.

A New-Age Traditional Baptist Vision
